forward-char

Key: Right

Move the cursor one character forward.

Key: Left

Move the curser one character back.

Move the cursor one word forward.

Scroll view window one line down (text scrolls up). The same effect is achieved by clicking on the scrollbar down arrow.

Scroll view window one line up (text scrolls down). The same effect is achieved by clicking on the scrollbar up arrow.

Key: Page Up, Alt-Up

Move view window to previous page of text. The original two lines at the top of the screen are shown at the bottom of the screen. A similar effect is achieved by clicking into the scrollbar above the scroll handle. This function takes the cursor with it, leaving it always in the current view. Changing the view with the scrollbar leaves the cursor unaffected.

Keys: Page Down, Alt-Down

Move view window to next page of text. The original two lines at the bottom of the screen are shown at the top of the screen. A similar effect is achieved by clicking into the scrollbar below the scroll handle. This function takes the cursor with it, leaving it always in the current view. Changing the view with the scrollbar leaves the cursor unaffected.

Key: Home, Shift-Ctrl-Up

Move the cursor and the view window to the beginning of the text.

end-of-text

Key: End, Shift-Ctrl-Down

Move cursor and the view window to the end of the text.

swap-cursor-mark

Key: Ctrl-x

Swaps the cursor and the mark. Redisplay the screen if necessary. See also: set-mark.

next-flag

Key: Alt-Tab

Move the cursor to the next flag. Flags are set by some syntax support functions (e.g. blue-expand).
