OMT Object Model

9.2 Process Model of modelling procedure

In this model we assume that in every task the products of the foregoing tasks are available. Only for the tasks that explicitly need a product, we have drawn the input/output. For example the task 'identify attributes' needs the data dictionary and also adds information to it. The second up till and including the sixth task all need the data dictionary as input and/or output.
The identification of the operations hasn't been modelled here, because they are identified after the Object Model, Dynamic Model and the Functional Model are ready.
There is one intermediate product, namely the Data Dictionary. And there is one end-product, the Object Diagram. This Object Diagram can be used in the later phases of the system development.
