Using the mouse |
The mouse can be used to do three things:
- set the cursor
- make selections
- paste text
(Of course it can also be used to use the scroll bar, but this won't be explained here...)

Left mouse button
- click
- sets the cursor to the click position
- drag
- selects the text under the mouse pointer
- double click
- selects a word
- triple click
- selects a line
- every click after that:
- without shift: add another line to the selection
- with shift: add another word to the selection
Middle mouse button
- click
- pastes the paste buffer at the click position
Right mouse button
- click
- extends or shrinks the selection from cursor or start of selection to the click position.
